Short on Space
Toronto, Ontario
Like so many of us, this busy professional couple discovered that their previously adequate two bedroom condo was too cramped for two people working from home.
The north facing aspect meant the poorly lit and cramped spaces with scant storage felt even more crowded. By opening up the kitchen to the dining room, removing walls to create a large walk in closet with laundry, adding two distinct and separate work spaces and adding additional storage and lighting, the entire apartment has been transformed.
Always a joy to do kitchens, this was no exception as the new layout meant much more comfortable working space, better function and a combination of walnut and lacquered cabinetry created a beautiful timeless look.
In the bedroom an entire wall was given over to custom cabinetry concealing both clothing and a television.
Every square inch of this condo is now not only stunning to look at but has function and no wasted space.
