Bathrooms

Toronto, Ontario

This lovely old house in the annex had several renovations over the decades but the bathrooms were left behind each time.

The couple that live in the house are frequent entertainers and as their main living space was on the second floor it meant the bathroom used by all their guests was a full bath, very dated and lacked storage.

By rethinking both the principal bath and the second floor bathroom we were able to create a sumptuous principal suite with a separate bath and shower which accommodated much needed storage - including a cedar closet, a main floor powder room with hidden laundry and ample storage.

As the clients have a strong sense of design and embrace art they were unafraid of the strong use of colour, the ‘ Jackson Pollock ‘ style floor and the sculptural aspects of the principal bathroom.

A joy to remake these spaces into ones that so thoroughly suited the clients.
